my recent stay in ubud exceeded all expectations at this beautiful villa. from the incredible nature surrounding the property to the kind and helpful staff, everything was perfect. the spacious and clean room, delicious breakfast, and unique spa experience near the river made it a memorable stay. can't wait to go back!

    Leaking roof during shower rains.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, the view from the villas and at the pool is stunning. Villas are comfortable, very private. Hotel is big but it has only few rooms so it's a real boutique place.

The staff doesn't speak english! It's very difficult to communicate even at the reception. After few days spent at the hotel it's very annoying. Breakfast menu is very very poor. Again, after few days you can't stand the same toast and eggs anymore.

the experience was a cathastrophy: we arrived at midnight and they knew as I emailed the GM. We were welcomed by two security guards not speaking english. There was no receptionnist or night manager (very unsafe). The villa's sliding doors were badly built and the place was full of insects (in the bed) and noisy (roof not isolated and it was like being in the jungle). The floor was totally slippery (wrong varnish) + the offered bambo slippers made me fell and I broke two ribs. We called the operator, who was at 70 km of distance in another hotel and no help was offered as none of the senior staff was there, I had to hold on till the morning when at 8 the Manager offered a doctor (too late as we were on our way to the hospital with our own driver). The villa's quality was low and the pictures on internet are not reflecting the place. This is a 3 star hotel overpriced and unsafe. The breakfast in the morning was very average, again staff could not speak english...the hotel is not up to international standards. The pool water was very cold and the pool is small. We could not close an eye because of the jungle noises. We checked out in the morning. Perhaps the only good place is the view on the forest, but all the rest is really bad. I would not feature this hotel on my website. The Manager rebated the night rate due to all these incidents, this did not make a difference to us, price or money was not the issue...it was our first day of holiday and it started in a very bad way endangering the full stay (I was not able to move for one week)

see before. We decided to check out after one night, all was very disappointing.

What an incredible stay! The location of this resort is mind-blowing, nestled against a lush rainforest and river. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond, especially Leo who was amazing. The resort was immaculately clean and the setting was jaw-dropping. The infinity pool was truly beautiful and the spa by the river was a real treat. The free shuttle into the city was very handy, making it easy to explore. This place is a real retreat and I can't wait to go back!

It was very luxurious- amazing location and beautiful room. Great for couples- amazing pool and spa. The service was very good- we were warmly welcomed. The place is even more beautiful than in photos. The location is definitely outside Ubud, and make sure you take the address with you everywhere because most local taxi drivers in Ubud do not know where it is located.

The hotel advertised the availability of a hotel shuttle, but in fact there is really no accessible shuttle at decent hours (leaves once a day from the hotel late morning and returns once a day early afternoon). To get around you have to take a hotel sponsored taxi/driver, which is more expensive than a normal metered taxi (they do not offer the option of calling a metered taxi company for you). Additionally, taking a taxi to go from point a to point b is not really an option- they try to sell you guided taxi tours by the hour. It is best to call a taxi directly yourself in Ubud and not ask the hotel to call you one. In addition, the restaurant food and drink prices are much more expensive than the prices in Ubud.

Very nice room and pool, good shuttle service to Ubud centre (10min drive), very good service in general

Very quiet hotel, little atmosphere since separate villas and most guests have out-of-hotel activities (practically all day) in Ubud and around

Spacious, clean room, with wet air. Infinity pool with jungle view. Friendly and helpful staff from check in to check out. Villa in a great location, close to nature.

There's a tree in our villa beside our bedroom, to sleep with a tree is a very unique experience. We joined their pool side dinner, there is traditional Balinese performance for us, we don't have to go out to see, that's very good. The room is very clean and neat. With the smell of flowers, the sound of birds and waterfalls you are like living inside a jungle. That's nice~

Quite far away from Ubud centre, the shuttle has only 2 rounds a day. It's not easy for our taxi driver to find the Villa when we first arrive

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous private villas, with private balcony and beautiful setting, you really can enjoy complete privacy! Also enjoyed the complimentary 1 hour massage on our balcony for staying for 4 days. Staff were very friendly too, and it was a nice and useful touch that you were allowed 3 or 4 pieces of laundry a day done free.

Though i mention the following things, none are real deal breakers, particularly if you get the half price off offer we did through booking ( about 250 USD), we felt the villas more up for it! Although not a problem for us, do not come here if you have mobility issues, you do walk up and down quite a distance to get to your room or to the lobby, although they do have a pickup service with a golf cart, but I don't think it reaches everywhere, e.g. the spa at the bottom. Considering the extremely high level of luxury at the resort, their food was surprisingly lack lustre and limited. They should improve it, but then again you should also go out and enjoy Ubud too! Also, considering the setting, they had reasonable prices for the pamper sessions but my wife didnt like some of the products they used, and I would expect more refinement. Lastly, although you shouldn't be thinking of going online, we were using our smart phones, which by nature have poorer reception than a laptop, and the hotel internet connectivity coverage was not great, it only worked for us in one corner of the balcony.

The location is quiet and peaceful, staff very friendly and helpful, food at the hotel was nice, spa treatments were reasonably priced and excellent and the rooms, pools and views all amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Only two free shuttles into ubud and back per day, otherwise you can pay 10 usd for a car. More shuttles would be great.

Loved everything! Absolutely amazing place with amazing views and location was great - peaceful and serene - and by car you could get easily to Ubud Market and Monkey Forest etc. Shuttle worked as promised and there were plenty of time to explore Ubud before the last pickup at 9pm. Villa Kunti 1 was amazing and worth the money! Villa's spa room was nice place to have in room massages. Our pool was nice and looked bigger than in the pictures. They also cleaned it everyday. Staff were friendly and food was great!

Our stay at this amazing resort was absolutely mind-blowing! The private pool in Villa Arjuna was the highlight, with sun shining in around 11am for a private sunbathing experience. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The staff were excellent and always available to help. The breakfast, though limited for vegetarians, was tasty. The free yoga class and bicycles provided were a fantastic bonus. The location, nestled in the peaceful jungle away from the hustle of the city, was perfect. The massages were the best we've ever had. this resort is a must for anyone visiting Bali!

*Very quiet peaceful location and only 14 Villas so small resort which is what we were looking for. *Villa with its own private pool & spa room and beautiful views and privacy. *Main Swimming Pool was gorgeous with beautiful views and natural spring water no chlorine. *You could have breakfast/dinner in a private gazebo at no extra charge. *The staff gave us a complimentary 3 course dinner + bottle of wine for my birthday which was lovely and also a gorgeous birthday cake. *Attention to detail rose petals in the bath and on the bed when we arrived.

*At times some staff had limited english so communication was trying but this is the same in most hotels in Bali ! *Limited shuttle into Ubud; only 2 times for drop off/pick up per day we felt they could have had more timings as was a bit restrictive if you did want to go into town. *More food and drink options on the menu

Beautifull hotel. The villas are nicely decorated and very spacious. Perfect hotel to relax and to explore ubud. You can borrow their bikes to explore the hotel surroundings. The staff was very friendly, and specially the girls at the reception, They did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Amazing view from the infinity pool.

The breakfast. This needs improving. Not enough variety ,and the quality of their current selection could be improved. I.e fresh orange juice instead of from concentrate. We also had dinner at the hotel once, and we were not very impressed.
